Roxy's Steak and Black Bean Chili

As a kid, my Best friend’s mom always made this for us and I covet the recipe to this day. We use top quality chuck roast, black beans, and thicken it with a bit of cornmeal. No tomato is used in this chili. Don’t forget the toppings. Hugely satisfying!
All soups and stews are sold by the 32oz quart and sold sometimes fresh, sometimes frozen (they are prepared on rotation). One quart serves 2 as a main dish or 3-4 as a side dish. To defrost, place entire quart in a pot of warm water until the sides loosen enough to empty contents into a sauce pan. Simmer on low, covered until heated through.
